Songs like Perhaps Love, Calypso, and Thank God I’m a Country Boy sound powerful and fresh once again. There’s also room for lesser-known gems. “Real emotion can’t be imitated,” says Jimmy. The arrangements by Lee Holdridge, Denver’s long-time collaborator, ensure an authentic sound.
