After years of success with Country Roads, the band returns with a fresh program that delves into Denver’s music and life. Expect a musical journey filled with recognition, emotion, and surprises.

Jimmy brings songs like Calypso, Perhaps Love, and the title track with a fresh approach, while staying true to the soul of the original. Lesser-known material also gets its spotlight. “You can’t fake a feeling—you have to truly feel it,” says Jimmy. The arrangements are based on the original scores by Lee Holdridge, Denver’s trusted arranger.

Although Jimmy comes from a different generation, he feels musically connected to Denver. His work lives on—and you’ll feel that in this show. Thank God I’m A Country Boy! is grand in scope, yet intimate in execution: just the way Denver would have wanted it.
